The Egyptian superstar of the Arab world has received praise for his masterful combination of western and Arabic rhythms. From his hit song 'Tamally Maak', back in July 2000, which became an instant best-seller in Egypt, he went on to perform on the Gulf Tour in 2003 at Dubai's Shopping Festival and in Oman.

The prolific veteran of music also won his second World Music Award in 2002 for 'Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist.
