- Get moving! Exercise at least 3 times a week, even if it's for 30 minutes (walking is a valid exercise too).
- Manage stress, it's behind a lot of bad food habits.
- Cut the caffeine, it can dehydrate you and trigger food cravings
- Set a clear diet goal and stick to it. It's about gradual progress not perfection. Don't be too hard on yourself
- Increase your intake of fibre. If you'd like to have bread, then make it brown
- Try to keep fat in the diet to a minimum so cut back on fried foods and on butter.
- Avoid extremes in whatever you do, "Balance" is the name of the game. So no "crash diets"
- Load up on fruits and vegetables. They’re full of antioxidants
- Make sure your dairy products are low fat
- Celebrate your progress and achievement, you deserve it!
